I recently went to Colorado on a hiking and fitness trip with my sister in law, who is also a blogger, Libby from FaithfullyFitArmy. Colorado in the summer is my favorite spot in the U.S. I love how the temperatures are room temperature and there is always something active to do.
One of the first stops we made was at Red Rocks Amphitheater. This has been on my bucket list for many years. It was only 8 minutes from where we stayed, Origin Hotel. Red Rocks is open to the public for FREE whenever an event is not going on. If there is no event going on during the day, you can workout anytime until 2PM. Let me tell you, Libby and I got our butts kicked by a step workout we created. These stairs were no joke and there were plenty of ways you could do a workout with them.

My Step (or no step) Partner (or no partner) workout
This workout can be done with a partner or on your own. If being done with a partner, you alternate each of the movies. If you are doing the workout on your own, complete all the moves.
Do each set three times:
SET ONE: 15 Pushups and 15 tricep dips (Triceps HOW with step || Triceps HOW without step) – The other partner will run (or jumprope) until this is completed (If you are doing by yourself, run or jumprope for 1 minute)
SET TWO: 15 Squat jumps onto step or regular squat jumps (HOW with step || HOW without step) – The other partner will run (or jumprope) until this is completed (If you are doing by yourself, run or jumprope for 1 minute)
SET THREE: 15 Burpees with a pushup off of step (HOW with step || HOW without step and shows lower option) – The other partner will run (or jumprope) until this is completed (If you are doing by yourself, run or jumprope for 1 minute)
Follow with one of my CORE WORKOUTS when finished. Then stretch.
