Beauty and Hair Guide

Below are the product I use everyday.  As far as foundation goes. I use Estee Lauder Doublewear for days where I need my makeup to last all day as it is a full coverage foundation.  For everyday I use Makeup Forever HD.  I LOVE mixing the two mascaras below.  For live tutorial, go to my Instagram and check out my Makeup Routine story highlight.

Tula

The cleaners, gel, and day and night cream saved my skin! I had heard about Tula via Instagram and decided to try it this past May. I was a little hesitant to try it because literally no other facial products worked for me.  Acne has been a struggle my entire life.  Moisturizers, cleaners, makeup, pretty much anything broke my face out.  My acne got so bad I took a medical treatment called Acutane during college.  A year or so later my Acne came back and I was hopeless until I tried Tula. After 6 months of using Tula my skin has been better than ever! Below are my favorite products. GET 20% off with code TALLBLONDEBELL

CURLING TOOLS

I am featuring three brands of curling irons: T3 Micro, Babyliss Nano, and Beachwaver! Scroll to read my full review on each product.  Stay tuned for hair tutorials soon.

My Everyday Curling Iron: T3 Micro

For 15 years I used Hot Tools curling irons for my curls.  I honestly had no reason to stop using Hot Tools because I loved them so much; but then I discovered T3 Micro.  Not only does T3 Micro have interchangeable barrels, amazing hair dryers, and “one swipe” straighteners, but they are better for your hair.  Within 10-15 minutes I can get long lasting curls.  I personally prefer a clip barrel curling iron and I switch back and forth between the 1.25 and the 1.5.  For more volume I use the 1.5 and for more curls I use the 1.25.  I used the Whirl Trio Wands for an entire year so if you prefer the Wand they are amazing! If you are unsure what type of barrel you want I provided a picture to go with each tool below:

1.5 Barrel: Clip and Wand

This barrel is GREAT for volume! I prefer the clip barrel, but I know a lot of people that prefer the wand.  Both give the same girls.  I would suggest going for what you are most comfortable with.

T3 Micro 1.25 Barrel: Clip and Wand

This barrel is great for days you want your curls to last all day and your hair to stay “curly” .  I prefer the clip barrel, but I know a lot of people that prefer the wand.  Both give the same girls.  I would suggest going for what you are most comfortable with.

Straighter: t3 Micro Singlepass

The best curling iron for beginners: BeachWaver

I personally have never tried the Beachwaver until a few weeks ago.  I had a TON of requests on my Instagram to give a review for the Beachwaver.  I also have a friend who has the best hair and swears by it.  It only took me a few curls to instantly get used to using this curling iron.   This curling iron is PERFECT for the girl who can’t figure out how to use a clip barrel or a wand to save her life.  It is very hard to mess up your curls with this iron.  It does it for you with the press of a button! I was very impressed with how easy it was to use.  If you want those beach wave look, this tool is for you! The heat protectant spray is my new favorite.  It literally smells like the beach and it is a light hairspray and heat protectant spray in one!

Budget Friendly: Babyliss Nano Titanium – 1 Inch

The Babyliss Nano Titanium curling iron that my hair stylist, Marie (@hairextensionsbymarie) uses and I was shocked to hear the price!  This is also the same curling iron used at the famous Habit Salon. This curling iron is THE curling iron to get if you are wanting something a little more budget friendly.  It is under $40 and I discovered this gem a week ago when I got my haircut.  Below is picture of the curls from a 1 inch curling iron.

Best on the Market: T3 Micro Curl Luxe

The Cura Luxe is my go to hairdryer.  It has a special technology that dries your hair faster and is better for your hair.  It is a splurge but I promise it is worth every penny.

Budget Friendly: Revlon Laser Brilliance

I used this hair dryer before I purchased the T3 Micro Curl and honestly it is a great dryer.  It is under $30 and I love it!!
