I cannot believe today is the last day of summer.  I am currently traveling in Europe and I was able to hit the beach yesterday in Spain to soak up the last memories of summer and fully embrace the Fall.  Tomorrow we leave for Paris and I am VERY excited for the 60-70 degree temperatures.

I don’t know about you, but once September hits I am ready to bring out the layers, boots, pumpkins, and hot cider. Summer and Fall are my two favorites seasons both because of the wide variety of outdoor things to do, the comfort food, and the crisp weather. Summer is now gone and Fall is officially here (ok not until a few more days).

Between hiking and runnings, I try to stay outside the majority of the fall and summer. I have learned through the years the importance of wearing high quality gear when doing both. I recently discovered Backcountry, a one stop shop for the best brands of outdoor wear and gear. I love how they carry all of my favorite brands: Patagonia, The North face, Blundstone, Hunter, adidas, and much much more (including Canadian Goose).

When it comes to outdoor gear, I will use it until it is no longer wearable so I want a brand that will last through the seasons, the hikes, the weather, etc. I recently picked up this Patagonia parka coat and the minute I put it on I fell in love. It comes in multiple colors and runs TTS (if not a little bigger). I linked all of my favorite layering pieces from Backcountry below:

I also love to get a durable pear of boots that will last me through the winter without any wear and tear and will keep my feet warm. I love these new Blundstone Chelsea boot because they are durable, can be worn up or down, and aren’t big and bulky.  Anything that can be worn with a pair of distressed jeans an a comfy jacket or sweater I am all in.  The Chelsea Blundstone boots runs smaller so order up a size.  I linked all of my favorite fall boots from Backcountry below:

If you are looking for a once stop shop from everything to hiking, to bicycling, to running, and anything outdoors, Backcountry is the place you want to shop.  I was super impressed with the selections they had and a lot of the items in their selection are sold in limited locations.
