1: Lululemon 5″ Track That Short: The priciest, but the best fit in my opinion. I love that they are high waisted, have a 5″ inseam (which is hard to find), and come in a lot of colors. These are shorts that will last several years. I size up to a 6.
2: Nike Pro Shorts: These are my second top pick. I love how they come with spandex shorts underneath and that they are high waisted with a thick band. I also love the price. I get mediums and they run tts.
3: Free People The Way Home shorts (with Free people Biker short underneath) :These are super fun and I LOVE the super thick waist band. I prefer to wear short biker shorts under them (the free people ones linked are my favorite of all time, I wear these by themselves as well). I size up to a medium in these due to the waist band!
4: Walmart Shorts: These are only $9!! They are by top selling item so far in 2021. I love the colors. They run tts, but I size up to a medium because I prefer a looser fit.
5: Balance Athletica Breeze Short: These are a fairly new find. I love the colors, the thick waistband, and the 4″ inseam. I size up to a medium in these because of the waist. 
6: Amazon Shorts: For my mid rise lovers! These are a perfect Lululemon dupe! They have a 4″ Inseam and run TTS. I sized up to a medium for a looser fit. The band has a drawstring.
