October is officially here and I can’t believe how fast the last couple of months have flown by now that Blake is with us! The weather is finally starting to cool down in Indianapolis and that means it’s time to break out the cozy sweaters and knee-high boots! I have always loved fall fashion, so I thought it would only make sense to share with you guys the trends I am loving for this year. With trends constantly changing, it can definitely feel overwhelming to keep up. I always say only shop the trends that align with your personal style or they will just sit in your closet and you’ll never reach for them.
This year, I’m leaning into all things stripes, midi skirts, denim, and cute/trendy workwear. I mean, who doesn’t love a trouser or oversized blazer?! So, if you guys need a little inspo this fall don’t worry I’ve got you covered!

STRIPES
A few of my favorites:
Baby Tee: So cute with jeans and sneakers for fall! If it’s chilly out, throw on a leather jacket over it.
Olive Green Sweater: I have been loving this color this year! This sweater is so comfortable and only $45.
Turtleneck: This is such a great basic to have in your closet. I love pairing it with leather pants and sneakers or you can totally dress it up with a black mini skirt and kitten heels for a night out!
Striped Cardigan: It’s giving Sofia Richie in the best way! I’m obsessed with this classy chic look and think it would pair so well with jeans and a pair of ballet flats.
DENIM
A few of my favorites:
Black Denim Shirt Dress: This is a fall closet staple! It looks so cute with boots or sneakers and the shape of this one is so flattering.
Denim Vest: Such a fun way to spice up your wardrobe! Would be so cute with a white button-down shirt underneath and a similar wash jean.
Denim Midi Skirt: I can’t get enough of this trend! A go-to outfit for me this fall will definitely be this, a chunky sweater, and a cute pair of knee-high boots.
Dark Wash Jeans: I don’t know why I was sleeping on dark wash jeans because they are flattering and level up even the most basic outfit. I love the cut of these ones and will definitely be wearing them all season long.
MIDI SKIRTS
A few of my favorites:
Slip Skirt: I am so happy these are back in style because they look so chic! Abercrombie has the best ones and I have them in a few different colors.
Knit Midi Skirt: The side slit on this is so cute! Plus, I love how versatile it is and I can totally see myself dressing it up for a dinner date or down with sneakers for a morning at the farmer’s market.
Mesh Skirt: I love the print on this and think with would be perfect for a fall date night!
Faux Leather Skirt: You can’t go wrong with a leather skirt for the fall/winter season and this one is the perfect length.
WORKWEAR AESTHETIC
A few of my favorites:
Plaid Blazer: The perfect oversized blazer for fall and it’s only $99! We all know blazers can definitely be pricey so I thought this was such a great find for the quality.
Blazer Dress: You guys know I love Abercrombie and when I saw this I had to have it. The side belt is such a cute touch and I can see myself pairing it with leather boots.
Pleated Mini Skort: Comes in a few different colors and I am obsessed!
Brown Trousers: Trousers are in and here to stay! When I am not in the mood to put on jeans, but still want to look cute I will definitely reach for these.
