Walmart Fashion has lately become one of my favorite online shop.  Not only can you shop online for home decor, organization, and everyday essentials like shampoo and conditioner, but you can shop for both affordable outfits and even premium brands like RayBan, Adidas, Levis, Sam Edelman, etc.  I have shopped at Walmart for shoe organizing bins, velvet hangers, some workout gear, and recently some travel essentials and outfits.

If you have been following me this week, Michael and I took our dream trip to Italy.  This was both our second time to Europe and we felt much more comfortable traveling the second time than when we did the first time.  When I traveled to Europe the first time, I overpacked way too many outfits, I packed outfits that were not comfortable, and I got the wrong outlets to be able to plug in any electronic devices.  Below are some tips that I recommend to anyone who plans on traveling to Europe (or internationally) soon.

Pack Versatile Pieces:

Brings clothing items that can be mixed and matched to make different outfits.  (Dresses, rompers, and Jumpsuits are PERFECT for the summer months.  I wore dresses everyday in Italy.  Most were under $30

Pack comfortable shoes:

Comfortable shoes don’t have to be ugly shoes.  The tennis shoe trend is big right now so I highly recommend packing a pair of white slides or my favorite pair of Reeboks.  I love pairs white sneakers with a dresses too! I also recommend a comfy pair of sandals. I wore a pair of Steve Madden flatform sandals on this trip and I think the platform part of sandals really dress up an outfit without the shoe actually being a heel. If you are going to be doing a lot of hiking during the summer, I HIGHLY recommend the Chaco Sandals below.  They are waterproof and super comfortable.  I have hiked over 11 miles up a mountain in them.

SHOES

Make sure you are using  internationally approved travel essentials.

One of the biggest things is so make sure you get the right size suitcase because the airlines can be very strict with luggage size, especially carry on sizes.  Below I linked the suitcase Michael and I brought with me on the trip. I used the large one and Michael used the medium sized on.  We searched high and low for the best international outlet, and we found the best quality one for the best price.  Some can be up to $50 and I do not think that is necessary.  This Conair Portable Charger even has a USB port for Iphones.  .  If is important to make sure you get one that can carry the voltage of larger devices such as laptops, hairdryers, and curling irons.  The last thing that I would say is a must is a portable charger.  Both Michael and I use the Anker Portable Charger one linked below and you can get up to FIVE charges before recharging it.  Super affordable too!

TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Make sure your bags are “pick pocketing proof”.

Pick pocketing is big in Europe and you want to make sure you keep your belongings in front of you or if they are a backpack then make sure they are sealed and secured.  I prefer carrying a mini backpack while traveling and below are backpacks that are both waterproof and theft proof. I also wore a belt bag too and LOVED it.  It was nice to have the free hands.  It was just big enough to fit my cellphone, wallet, and sunglasses,

I agree with your list! We traveled to Europe this summer too and almost forgot to pack our charger. Thank goodness we remembered just before leaving. I love your jumpsuit. So cute and perfect!
