I don’t know about you but didn’t June fly by?  June is my favorite month of the year because the weather is great, it’s the start of my summer break (teacher), and so many strawberry festivals happen across the state. (I am a strawberry freak).

Last weekend Michael and I went to a friend’s wedding west of Chicago. Michael’s family is from Chicago so we spent the rest of the weekend exploring the city.  We got to eat at one of my favorite restaurants off of Michigan Avenue, The Grand Luxe.  They have the BEST beignets with these amazing chocolate, raspberry, and white rum sauces.

Being in the city I thought I might as well dress up and go all out for a date night.  I decided to wear this jumpsuit from Bella and Bloom Boutique.  Being 5’11”, a jumpsuit that fits is hard to come by and this jade jumpsuit fits like a glove. So if you are reading this post because you wanted to read the embarrassing story that I mentioned in my Instagram. Here is it ! I hardly ever get embarrassed but this tops the list.

THE STORY: As we finished up dinner at the Grand Luxe, I decided to go to the restroom.  As I was in the restroom there were girls behind me who were laughing.  I just thought that they were laughing at each other, little did I know they were laughing at me.

I walked through the entire restaurant and met Mike to leave.  We then walked down Michigan Avenue for 15 minutes when I noticed the straps on my jumpsuit kept falling off of my shoulders.  I then realized I NEVER ZIPPED UP MY JUMPSUIT!!!! Thankfully I was wearing a bodysuit so more was covered than expected, but I was terrified!! Bascially I was walking around fo 20 more than what I would like showing behind. Keep in mind when you are almost 6 feet tall you are going to stick out.  So my tip if you ever see someone who has food in their teeth or their pants aren’t zipped up…TELL THEM.
